What People Said About This Emerson Microwave:

“The microwave is beautiful and small so you can save counter space, but the features are wonderful. Yes, the previous reviewer is correct. You have to round up how long you put things in the microwave. Since it’s a smaller unit, it takes a little longer to heat things up. I have yet to see this as a draw back yet considering in most cases it’s 30 seconds to two minutes of extra time.
My favorite part about this microwave is actually the timer. When you set the timer, it will display the current time instead of the count down. If you wish to see how much longer until the time is up, just select the timer button to see. Also, when you turn on the timer, you can use the microwave without interfering.

Another great feature is that there’s a reminder feature so you won’t forget that you left your coffee in the microwave. Every couple of minutes it’ll beep until you remove the item. Sounds annoying, but it’s helpful when you’re multitasking and tend to forget the coffee.” – Laura

“I absolutely love my new microwave! Not only does the color add a nice touch to my kitchen, but for a smaller microwave it does a great job. The size is perfect for those with limited space. I’d highly recommend it to anyone wanting a microwave with style!” – Trina

This compact microwave is very light and might not have enough power to do some heavy duty heating and cooking. But Overall, it’s a good compact microwave.

What People Said About This Sharp R-2300KK Microwave:
“I bought this micro solely based on size, as it needed to fit inside a cabinet. and I was replacing a Sharp micro that had been good to me for many years. This little thing makes an inordinate amount of noise while running, like it’s trying really, really hard. Takes about 50% longer to do the same job, as well. It’s certainly adequate if you only microwave the occasional item, but if you’re a more heavy duty microwave user, I would suggest you look elsewhere” – Sasha

“We purchased this microwave for our small office. It works great, fits our space and is just the thing to heat a quick breakfast, lunch or to re-heat beverages. I have a larger model Sharp Microwave at home and I am very happy with their products.” – T. Lewis

You have to reduce the power level on some recipes since most microwave cookbooks use 1000 watt machines. The power level button prevents overcooking. The popcorn button is terrific. Highly recommend getting the Sharp Carousel Cookbook that you can order from the back of the instruction book. Only $7, it has terrific recipes. I’ve made great tasting stuffed mushrooms, excellent nachos and cheesey bacon english muffins. I very happy with this microwave. It was impossible to find in any retail stores. Best Microwave Reviews – Introduction

Filed under Microwave Guide by Reese

Hi, this is my first post for my new blog – microwave reviews. I have use microwave a lot to cook food, either for heating up or cooking some simple cook food, microwave will get the job done well.

Best Microwave - Microwave Reviews

Microwave Oven Definition
Base on Wikipedia’s introduction, microwave or microwave oven is ..

A microwave oven, or microwave, is a kitchen appliance that can come in many different sizes and styles employing microwave radiation primarily to cook or heat food. This is accomplished by using microwaves, almost always emitted from a magnetron, to excite water (primarily) and other polarized molecules within the food to be heated. This excitation is fairly uniform, leading to food being heated everywhere all at once (except in thick objects), a feature not seen in any other heating technique.

Commercial Microwave
Commercial microwave ovens all come with timer. Plus if you heat food with microwave, it’s wouldn’t getting hot themselves. that’s is pretty much standard things about microwave.

The Main Things About Using A Microwave

Uneven Cooking
Using microwave oven to heat food might result in cooking unevenly if require time is enough and the microwaves only penetrate to a limited depth.

Uneven heating in microwaved food is partly due to the uneven distribution of microwave energy inside the oven, and partly due to the different rates of energy absorption in different parts of the food.

With today technology, the new microwave design model to solve uneven cooking by microwave is reduced by a stirrer, a type of fan that reflects microwave energy to different parts of the oven as it rotates. However, it’s not perfect, it’s may still leave spots, such as the center of the oven, which receive uneven energy distribution.

Didn’t Kill Bacteria
As you know, microwave ovens are frequently used for reheating cooked food, and the main concern is bacterial contamination may not be killed if certain safe temperature is not reached! This might result in food-borne illness. So now with better technology, the microwave have different setting such as defrosting and etc, to make sure it’s get the job done. Still, you need to use your own judgment sometime that make sure it’s heat enough to kill the bacterial if you are reheating the cooked food.

Microwave Reviews
There are a lot of microwaves out there in the market, and I’m going to review them one by one and only recommend the best that fit your need in my best microwave & microwave reviews blog, stay tune:)
